TO:     Mayor Gene F. Eriquez and Members of the Common Council

RE:     Minutes of the Special Common Council Meeting held April 25, 2000

        Mayor Eriquez called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M.  The Pledge of Allegiance and Prayer were recited.  The members were recorded as:

        PRESENT  Levy, Scalzo, Saadi, Dean Esposito, Machado, Shuler, Arconti, John Esposito, Abrantes, Pascuzzi, Furtado, Gogliettino, Michael Moore

        ABSENT  McAllister, Smith, Buzaid, Coco, Basso, Gallagher, Martin Moore, Saracino

        13 Present     - 8 Absent

        Mr. McAllister was out of town and Mrs. Smith was working

        NOTICE OF THE SPECIAL MEETING  There will be a Special Meeting of the Common Council on April 25, 2000 at 7:00 P.M. in the Common Council Chambers in City Hall to act on the item listed below.  Mr. Levy made a motion to accept the call and return of service.  Seconded by Mr. Scalzo.  Motion carried unanimously.

        PUBLIC SPEAKING  There were no members of the public requesting to address the Common Council.

        1  COMMUNICATION  Appointments to the Position of Police Officer in the Danbury Police Department

        Letter from Mayor Gene F. Eriquez requesting the confirmation of Stephan M. Cameron, Paul Steven Carroccio, Michelle Kathryn Cattuti, Vincent P. Daniello and Jason L. Frank to the position of police officer in the Danbury Police Department.

        Mr. Scalzo made a motion to receive the communication and confirm the appointments of Stephan M. Cameron, Paul Steven Carroccio, Michelle Kathryn Cattuti, Vincent P. Daniello and Jason L. Frank as police officers in the Danbury Police Department.

        Motion carried unanimously.

        There being no further business to come before the Common Council a motion was made by Dean Esposito for the meeting to be adjourned at 7:15 P.M.
