Currently seeking 2 Commission Board Members and 3 Alternates. Members are required to be from Danbury, and be active in the Disability Community or have a family member who is disAbled. Our role as commissioners is to advise and make aware to the Mayor of disAbility issues that need to be addressed in the community. The nine member Commission was established to advise the Mayor and the Common Council of the needs of persons with disAbilities within the community with relation to housing, economics, employment, transportation, health, recreation and other matters.
Meetings are held at City Hall 3rd floor, at 6:30pm on the second Tuesday of the month. There are no meetings held in July and August
